Why are we still crying Wolff?
One of the most influencial papers in the medical field relating to iodine that caused fear about its usage was published in 1948 and is referred to as the "Wolff-Chaikoff Effect". Today I will discuss why this paper should not be used as a resource when making a decision whether or not iodine supplementing can be useful to address health concerns or for prevention.
